In the summer of 2025, a client approached WRAPvehicles with a vision to personalise his new-to-him Mercedes G63 AMG. While the G63 AMG is already a high-performance, feature-rich SUV, he wanted to explore ways to make the car truly his own. Our approach is built around consultation, collaboration, and creative exploration, ensuring every client achieves a result that reflects their style and preferences.

Stage 1: Initial Consultation – Wrapping and PPF Options

The first stage focused on vehicle wrapping and paint protection film (PPF). Together, we explored options for giving the car a unique style while also providing protection against stone chips and scratches. We discussed different colour options, accent pieces, roof wraps, and window tints — showing how each choice would affect the car’s final appearance and functionality.

The consultation allowed the client to understand what could be achieved with modern wraps and PPF, and how each option would impact both look and protection. While not all ideas from this stage were used in the final build, this exploration set the foundation for the car’s bespoke styling.

Stage 2: Exploring Wheels and Body Conversion Packages

Next, we examined wheel upgrades and full car conversion packages. The G63 comes with 22-inch forged wheels as standard, but our client was interested in something more exclusive.

We walked him through a range of high-end conversion packages from brands including BRABUS, Mansory, Lumma Design, Kahn Design, Liberty Walk, Urban Automotive, Prior Design, and others. Each package offers different styling and levels of visual transformation.

During these discussions, the client considered the BRABUS Widestar package, known for retaining Mercedes warranty and offering strong resale value. However, pricing and EU import fees made us explore alternatives that could deliver a similarly bold look more cost-effectively.

Stage 3: Narrowing Down Options

Through collaborative consultation, we presented Urban Automotive’s Widetrack package as an alternative. Adding 50mm of width to each side, a revised bumper design, carbon fibre splitters, and spoilers, the package created a striking presence while remaining a smart choice for the client.

At the same time, we explored complementary options such as custom forged wheels and additional carbon fibre accents. Each stage allowed the client to visualise possibilities, weigh pros and cons, and make informed decisions.

Stage 4: Final Decision and Build

After reviewing all options, the client chose the Urban Automotive Widetrack package paired with exclusive forged wheels. The car was finished with a full Avery Satin PPF wrap, transforming it from metallic grey to Satin Grey, while all carbon fibre trims were protected with high-gloss PPF.

The result was a bespoke G63 AMG that combined visual impact, personal style, and class-leading protection — a car that was unique, fully functional, and ready to impress for years to come.
