Logistics & Timescale
With only days to work, arranging collection from Warwick, transport to our Manchester facility, production, installation, delivery to show site, then returning the vehicle afterward was a complex schedule. WRAPvehicles managed the logistics, ensuring minimal downtime and reliable transport.
Design Complexity
The wrap design featured a gradient fade from white to electric blue, with “tech-inspired” graphical elements. Gradient designs are much harder to wrap well, especially over edges, panel gaps, creases, and across matching points at the rear. We needed to plan carefully so the fade aligned from side to side, met correctly at the rear corners, and didn’t distort on the curves.
Surface Finish & Visual Impact
To make the design pop in bright event lighting but avoid reflections/glare, we opted for a matte laminate finish. This limited glare/reflections, ensuring the visual design remained clear and legible under strong lighting and from many viewing angles.
On-site Presence & Aftercare
The car had to be delivered to the Delphi stand at TechFest North, prominently displayed, then collected/returned post-event, and immediately repurposed for TechFest South and daily driving by Delphi’s Technical Services Manager. Durability was essential.
